In the 1950s and 60s, when failure to wear gender-appropriate clothing was illegal across most of the country, a community of cross-dressing men found refuge at a modest house in the Catskills region of New York. Named after its matriarch, Casa Susanna provided community and validation for its guests.
"Stonewall Uprising" explores the dramatic event that launched a worldwide rights movement. Told by those who took part, from drag queens and street hustlers to police detectives, journalists and a former mayor of New York, and featuring a rich trove of archival footage, this film revisits a time when homosexual acts were illegal throughout America, and homosexuality itself was seen as a form of mental illness. Hunted and often entrapped by undercover police in their hometowns, gays from around the U.S. began fleeing to New York in search of a sanctuary. Hounded there still by an aggressive police force, they found refuge in a Mafia-run gay bar in Greenwich Village, the Stonewall Inn. When police raided Stonewall on June 28, 1969, gay men and women did something they had not done before: they fought back. As the streets of New York erupted into violent protests and street demonstrations, the collective anger announced that the gay rights movement had arrived.

While Amsterdam is technically not an island, this watery canal filled city is arguably the epicenter of western bicycle culture. With more bicycles than people, Amsterdam's car-free ethos has been evolving for centuries. We caught up with two Americans playing a significant part in that evolution. Then we travel across the North Sea for a 45-minute ferry ride to the 9.9-mile car-free island of Schiermonnikoog. With only 900 residents, Schiermonnikoog is the least densely populated municipality in the Netherlands. There is one supermarket, one bakery, and an unblemished beach stretching for miles where the Frisian Islanders come to commune with nature and each other. Finally, we visit the tiny floating village of Geithoorn. Established as a settlement of peat harvesters, Geithoorn consists of a series of fairytale thatched 18th and l9th century farms and houses built on individual peat islands and connected by over 170 small bridges. Often called the Venice of the North, cars are not allowed and have to be parked outside of the village. And while a bike path has been added, most transport through the canals is done by boat.

Mom and Tilly have a great reunion, yet they have very different memories of what their childhood disagreement was about-except that it was about an adventure in a swamp and a swamp-dwelling creature. To clear things up, Mom, Tilly, Tiny, Shiny, and Annie go back to Mom and Tilly's old neighborhood and the swamp. / Mom and Tilly (along with Tiny, Shiny, and Annie) return to their old neighborhood to explore the swamp where they used to play as kids and had a disagreement. The disagreement was about a swamp creature - was it a friend or foe? Mom and Tilly discover the creature, who is still there, is a friend! She is GOLDIE the GLOBIDENS, a marine creature who eats mostly shellfish. Mom recalls that she was scared of Goldie as a kid. and that that was the crux of her disagreement with Tilly. But, that was then, and now their friendship is patched up and strong again - a good example for Shiny and Annie.

Super Carga turns on everyone's superpowers with the catchphrase "a lo maximo" which means "to the maximum" in Spanish. Abby and Elmo want to be Super Carga, but they have a hard time saying the catchphrase. Elmo and Abby suggest Rosita to be Super Carga since she can say the superhero's name and catchphrase. Rosita loves speaking Spanish, but she wants to do other superhero things too. When Mia joins them to play superheroes, Rosita and Mia share that speaking Spanish isn't the only thing that makes them special. Abby mentions that she wants to play Super Carga and Rosita helps her practice pronouncing the catchphrase "a lo maximo." Now, the superheroes are ready to play!
