Fifteen year-old Rebecca Pool has been making fiddles in her parents Mountain View Music shop since she was twelve. The only remaining one-room schoolhouse in Parkin built in 1910 for African-American students has been restored. One of the prettiest autumn drives in the state is along Rockhouse Road south of Eureka Springs. The Ouita Coal Company Trail and the Wildlife Observation Trail at Illinois Bayou Park in Russellville offer some great mountain biking adventure. The A&A City Caf? in Parkin began as a gas station during the 1940's and is now refueling folks with some great eats !
