Hollywood heartthrob Johnny Depp has made a career of playing some strange characters, including Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Raul Duke and Donnie Brasco; all of which brought him critical acclaim, but little commercial success. Due to an early decision in his career to only play roles that pleased him, Johnny turned down parts in blockbuster films such as "Titanic," "The Matrix" and "Speed."
