This "rockumentary" charts the amazing story of one of the greatest rock bands in the world, the Rolling Stones, chronicling their first gig at the Marquee Club on July, 12, 1962, the line-up changes, the famous rivalry between the Stones and the Beatles, and their meteoric rise to fame and notoriety. From the beginning, trouble followed the band wherever it went, with numerous drug busts, in-fighting among the members of the group, and offstage antics with groupies. Brian Jones, the founder of the group, left after feeling displaced as the decision maker, and the band replaced him with Mick Taylor. Sadly, Jones was found dead on July 3, 1969. Since then, the Stones have gone from strength to strength, despite continuing drug busts, the tragic concert at Altamont Speedway, and the high profile love-life of Mick Jagger. In recent years, however, the Stones have concentrated on their live shows, still giving 100%. Despite their collective age, it looks like the Rolling Stones will keep on rolling for years to come.
