KIDNEY TRANSPLANT - A filter has been developed in Sweden for kidney-transplant patients; this means that antibodies which would normally attack incompatible blood can be removed.

Lord Edward Davenport a.k.a. 'Fast Eddie' is said to have made 34.5 million through his various frauds, with as many as 51 victims. After being convicted of tax offenses in 1990, he started on a career as a property developer. He was the "ringmaster" of a series of advance-fee fraud schemes that defrauded dozens of individuals out of millions of dollars. He was arrested and convicted in September 2011 along with five other defendants, receiving a jail sentence of seven years and eight months.
The crimes chronicled in this episode include: THE YORKSHIRE RIPPER: England 1975 - 1980, 13 women (mainly prostitutes) were murdered by Peter Sutcliffe, dubbed the "Yorkshire Ripper." GEORGE HARRISON ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT: New Year's Eve, 1999, saw Beatles' legend George Harrison narrowly miss assassination in his home by Michael Abram. HEAVEN'S GATE: 38 members of the "Heaven's Gate" cult were found dead as a result of group suicide led by Marshall Applewhite.
