Overseeing almost 3000 inmates plus a large staff in a county jail is an enormous responsibility. Gracey will talk with the Chief of Corrections and learn about a career in criminal justice. Then Shawn will meet up with an estate planning attorney and learn how he works with his clients to have their affairs in order and wishes met for their inevitable passing. Plus, Alecsa will visit a podiatrist to learn why she chose this specialty and how we can avoid foot and ankle problems that most of us experience at one time or another.
CARBON CUTTING - We look at the UK's industry drive to address climate change. WOOLLY MAMMOTH - Londoners were surprised to see the Nature History Museum's mammoth in Trafalgar Square. It was there to show how British climate has changed in thousands of years. HOT SPOTS - We have a look at UK land temperatures over a 3-day period. CHINA-RAIN - Chinese weather experts have resorted to using chemicals to create rain to help relieve drought, and rinse dust from within China. DESERTIFICATION -Milgin County in China was once a lush oasis along the Silk Road, but now it is one of China's driest deserts. DROUGHT - World Wide Fund (WWF) blamed global warming for the 2006 drought that reduced South America's Iguaza Falls to a trickle. NORWAY ICE -European space agency's Envisat are making land measurements and tracking of natural phenomena. GREENLAND GLACIER - This glacier is moving at an astonishing speed of 30 feet a day. INDIAN GLACIER - These famous glaciers are depleting due to climate changes and increased human activity.
