If you're more of a land lover you'll appreciate visiting Market Street and Wilmington's Historic District, which is the heartbeat of downtown. Local residents are also proud of the important part Wilmington played in the Civil War and World War II. We take you to Fort Fisher, which served as a Confederate fort that protected the trade routes along the Cape Fear River. Then join us aboard the Henrietta, a Cape Fear Riverboat that gives you a look at Wilmington's history from the water. Our last stop is aboard another ship, the majestic USS North Carolina Battleship an incredible ship that served during World War II and was considered the world's greatest sea weapon.

Henry Moore's long journey from a nineteenth-century coal-mining town in the north of England to the center stage of the twentieth-century art world was driven by talent, vision, and ambition.
