(2002) The Phoenicians were the only ones brave enough to travel on the Atlantic and were able to receive gold for their goods in Africa and tin in England and Ireland. Features Sardinia which was the largest producer of Phoenician crafts and its cities of Tharros and Nora. Travels to Carthage and discusses its military port and how the Phoenicians built and took care of their ships and the bursa where trading took place in Carthage. Uses three dimensional graphics to illustrate Baalbeck, a Nuraghi settlement and the military port of Carthage.
