He visits a mushroom farm to show how nutrients feed all kinds of mushrooms. When Nick removes a mushroom stem and leaves a mushroom overnight on paper, he sees the wonderful patterns all kinds of mushrooms make. With two friends, he combines peat moss and compost to create a mushroom farm from the mushroom spores in the peat moss.
