Simple machines include the lever, the inclined plane, the wedge, the pulley, the wheel and axle, and the screw. Combine these simple machines and you can create almost anything that makes work easier. Host Joan Cartan-Hansen is joined by John Gardner and Kathryn Devine. Woody Sobey of the Discovery Center of Boise will also do a special demonstration of simple machines.
