Hiroshige hosts an art event that costs him a fortune, but the spotlight is stolen by a popular artist, Kunisada. On his way home, he spots Kayo at a pawn shop and realizes he had been putting a heavy burden on her. Still, Kayo encourages him wholeheartedly, and persuades him to resign from his samurai status and firefighting duties to focus on his art. Then, through Kayo's connection, a publisher named Magohachi offers him a job to paint "The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido Road." Will this be his breakthrough?
