She does the same herself, and even though she doesn't like all of it, she's proud of herself for trying.

When Daniel and Prince Wednesday go through their bedtime routines together, Daniel realizes how different it is sleeping at Prince Wednesday's castle. As bedtime nears, Daniel and Prince Wednesday notice some things that are just a little bit scary...but they soon learn that once they investigate further, they actually aren't scary at all! Backyard Camping - Daniel and O the Owl are camping in the yard with Dad Tiger and O is a little hesitant to sleep in this unfamiliar setting. However, once he examines this new setting closely, he learns that it's not so scary! In fact, different can be fun!

She wants to know what it's like to be a monkey, and George spends an entire day showing her, which includes climbing high in a tree to see where Jumpy squirrel lives. When George climbs down the tree though, he finds that Allie is afraid to follow him. Not that Allie minds being stuck in the tree she speaks squirrel, you know. Still, George knows girls can't live in trees. He needs to bring out Allie's inner monkey and get her down from the tree! Hundleys Great Escape - Hundley takes it upon himself to return the toy a baby dropped in his lobby. But when George sees Hundley racing down the street with the toy in his mouth, George thinks he wants to play, and this delays Hundley. Hundley is not happy to see the baby drive off in a bus sans toy and is even more upset when Gnocchi, who wants in on the fun, grabs the toy and disappears through Pisghetti's basement window. George and Hundley follow Gnocchi into the basement, only to have the door lock behind them. Uh-oh. George and Gnocchi can climb up and out the window, but Hundley can't. George comes to the rescue by constructing a ramp leading to the window that even the littlest Daschund legs can climb. Now they just need to figure out where that baby went.

Light the Way - The kids are having a backyard camp out, but after Elinor's Dad falls asleep, they need to find a way to communicate quietly without waking him. As they observe some fireflies, the kids see how the fireflies signal to one another by lighting up, and realize they can do that with their flashlights. They blink their flashlights on and off as a way to communicate while being quiet. Shhh!

Etthen Heldeli: Caribou Eaters travels with Dene First Nations people in Canada's north, as they search for the species so vital to every aspect of their lives - the barren-ground caribou. The documentary is a celebration of their rich ancient culture, and a visual document lamenting their traditions that could vanish, if the caribou disappear. In subarctic Western Canada, there are three caribou herds: the Ahiak, Qamanirjuaq, and Beverly. These animals represent the largest and last great mammal migration on the North American continent. Once numbering in the millions, the Ahiak and Qamanirjuaq herds have been declining in alarming numbers over the last twenty years, while the Beverly herd's migration routes have contracted so much that they no longer cross into the provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This means that the Dene people of northern Saskatchewan, who depend on caribou for meat and hides, are now forced to travel hundreds of kilometres north into the Northwest Territories and Nunavut to reach the herds.

The story and characters are set in her homelands. ICT's Paris Wise spoke with her to learn more about the movie. "Fancy Dance" is in select theaters and streams on Apple TV starting June 28. A bill to establish a federal Indian boarding school truth and healing commission has passed committees in Congress for the first time. The progress was hailed by backers of the bill. ICT's Stewart Huntington has more on this landmark legislation. The newly announced class of Bush Fellows features six Indigenous people. These grants are awarded to outstanding individuals living in the Dakotas and Minnesota. One of them is Moira Villiard, an Ojibwe artist from Duluth, Minnesota. She says she intends to use the funds to go to graduate school, and promote a public art project. Our friends at PBS North have this Minnesota program on her work.
