In an effort to beguile their Devonshire neighbours, wealthy financier SIR GEORGE STUBBS and his 'subnormal' wife HATTIE prepare to stage a grand summer fete in the grounds of their new acquisition, Nasse House. No expense is spared, and the lawn is soon bustling with visitors keen to have their fortune told, to compete in the fancy dress and to try their hand at the coconut shy. And then there is the ultimate challenge: a fiendishly complicated 'murder hunt' prepared by the famous mystery novelist ARIADNE OLIVER. But Ariadne is perturbed. Convinced that someone is 'jockeying her along', she insists on the presence of her old friend HERCULE POIROT, who reluctantly agrees to apply his uniquely analytical mind to a crime that, as yet, only exists in Ariadne's imagination. The denizens and friends of Nasse are certainly an awkward and pernicious bunch: Poirot soon encounters the local Member of Parliament CAPTAIN WARBURTON and his imperious wife MRS WARBURTON, squabbling holidaymakers ALEC and SALLY LEGGE, lecherous architect MICHAEL WEYMAN, rambling ferryman JOHN MERDELL and the fete's uninvited guest, urbane foreigner ETIENNE DE SOUZA. And then there is AMY FOLLIAT, once the proud owner of Nasse, and now Sir George's pauperised lodger. Any one of them could be the killer; any one of them could be the victim. But what actually happens is utterly bewildering. Girl guide MARLENE TUCKER - volunteer actor in Ariadne's murder hunt - is found strangled to death in the secluded boat house. It seems like a motiveless act; but of course it is not. As Poirot and Ariadne try to pick their way through Nasse's web of secrets and lies, another mystery presents itself - the vanishing of vulnerable Hattie Stubbs. Where is Hattie? Who killed Marlene? Who really authored Ariadne's murder hunt? What is the significance of Sir George's ghastly folly? And can it be true that this is a mystery the great Hercule Poirot cannot solve?

EVA: A-7063 is the incredible true story of an Auschwitz survivor's journey to forgiveness and healing. At the age of 10, Eva Mozes Kor fought to stay alive inside the concentration camp where she and her sister Miriam were being experimented on as one of "Mengele's twins." After decades of torment and pain following her liberation, she came to the epiphany that she needed to forgive the Nazis to move forward with her life. She has since emerged as arguably the best-known and most-active Holocaust survivor in the world. Despite her body failing her, the 4-foot-9, 83-year-old, who lives in Terre Haute, Indiana, circles the globe delivering her messages of healing and self-empowerment. Her lessons go far beyond her own experience, addressing current global atrocities and two of the biggest problems facing today's youth - bullying and discrimination. THE FIVE DEMANDS is a riveting story about the student strike that changed the face of higher education. In April 1969, a small group of Black and Puerto Rican students shut down the City College of New York, an elite public university located in the heart of Harlem. Although the late 1960s are known as an era of student activism, this momentous event has been overlooked and forgotten. Far more attention has been paid to white middle-class students in opposition to the Vietnam War, yet this protest had a more significant impact: the CCNY strikers were the vanguard of a national Black student movement that transformed the culture, mission, and curriculum of American higher education. CCNY's strike was homegrown in Harlem, America's most famous Black neighborhood. The Harlem community rallied around the students, and for many, it was the first time they ever stepped foot on the neo-Gothic campus on a hill overlooking their neighborhood. National television news covered the strike, but within a few years, this heroic struggle for educational equity was swept under the proverbial rug. Fueled by the revolutionary fervor sweeping the nation, the strike turned into an uprising, leading to the extended occupation of the campus, the cancelation of classes, the arrest of students, and the resignation of the college president. Told through the participants' point of view, the film follows the students' struggle against the institutional racism that, for over a century, had shut out people of color from this institution and other public universities. THE FIVE DEMANDS proves that a handful of ordinary citizens can band together to take action and effect meaningful change.

Samantha begins her New Orleans trip at City Park, enjoying chicory coffee and beignets from Cafe Du Monde. She then visits the National WWII Museum, home to a vast collection of war artifacts. Next, she explores Hansen's Sno-Bliz for snow cones and learns about Cafe Reconcile's workforce program. In Covington, she meets artist Marianne Angeli Rodriguez and visits the historic Southern Hotel. Biking down the Tammany Trace Rail Trail leads her to Abita Springs, where New Orleans' famous beer is brewed. Back in NOLA, she enjoys a Poor Boy sandwich at Parkway Bakery and Tavern before catching hot jazz at the Dew Drop Inn.
Arriving at the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival is certainly entertaining for Samantha, who is instantly engulfed in dance and music (Cajun and Zydeco), and gets to watch band favorites jam before packed crowds. Piquing her musical interest, Samantha ventures off to Martin Accordions, who have been crafting custom accordions for major Cajun and Zydeco stars for decades. With a full understanding of the local music, Samantha gets her step on by visiting Glide Studios and learns how the locals dance, Cajun-style. In this neck of the woods, if you are going to eat it better have a spicy kick to do it, as Samantha finds out first-hand after visiting Tabasco and talking John Simmons, a 6th generation family member, about harvesting peppers, the 5 year process it takes to actually bottle the sauce and its global stamp. Hot sauce in check, Samantha takes to the water and farms crawfish with a local farmer, who invites her afterward to a family crawfish boil. Another important component in understanding Lafayette is its deep French history, which includes the derivation of Cajun and how the local culture came to evolve. Samantha learns all about this while visiting the historic village of Vermilionville. What's visiting Louisiana without taking ride into the Bayou? Samantha does just that, as she takes a kayak tour through the swamps and learns about its natural habitats and geological importance. To cap off her trip, Samantha attends a performance by the legendary Magnolia Sisters, an all-female Cajun band, and dances Cajun-style with the locals at the popular Blue Moon Saloon.
