This warm-hearted updating of Roy Clarke's classic comedy Open All Hours delivers another serving of (almost) fresh groceries, banter and barmy customers. David Jason reprises his role as grocer Granville, who has inherited the small corner shop from his Uncle Arkwright. On hand to help out with the oddball customers and eccentric requests is Granville's dashing son Leroy. As Christmas approaches Granville's cost-saving measures are as cunning as ever, as he attempts to sell sweets that turn your tongue green and puddings that might just come from outer space.
