It seems there will always be a place for cowboys, wherever there are cattle to be rounded up and wild horses to be tamed… and wherever there are people who love the cowboy lifestyle. As cowboy poet Rudy Gonzales reminds us, “People want to be cowboys!” In wild west towns like Idaho City, we experience the thrill of a national cowboy fast-draw competition.
