The mighty Hudson weaves 315 miles through some of New York State's most stunning natural landscapes, through the lush fall colors of the Adirondack Mountains and ending at the iconic Statue of Liberty. Float past abandoned mining and logging towns as well as War of Independence battlefields before the river picks up speed through a dramatic cliff lined gorge with powerful rapids. The river becomes more developed moving south, with stops at a picturesque lighthouse, FDR's estate at Hyde Park, and the famed West Point military academy. The last leg is aboard a restored 1920s commuter yacht drifting past soaring cliffs and ducking under the majestic George Washington Bridge to pass the iconic skyscrapers of New York City and end at the Statue of Liberty.
