Dave Bishop, from Atlanta, IL, teaches regenerative agriculture classes at Heartland College, but for the past 40 years, he has farmed. A drought in 1988 made him think about his farm differently. He became certified organic in 2004 and highly diversified his farm. Finding ways to keep the wealth generated by the land in local communities is a high priority for Dave.
