Montgomery College provides students with personal academic coaches to assist with study strategies and resources to help them graduate and/or transfer on time.
MC provides academic coaches that are "attached" to specific courses to help guide students to available resources and develop better study habits.
It will be a Live Facebook Question and Answer session about services offered by Montgomery College's Disability Support Services.
Author Nadia Hashimi talks about her book "The Pearl that Broke Its Shell". She paints a poignant picture of two generations of women in Afghanistan. The ancient custom of bacha posh, allowing a young woman to dress and be treated as a son until she is of marriageable age, plays a role in the lives of both women.
Author Aminatta Forna talks about her book "The Devil That Danced on the Water", a memoir of her dissident father and her life in Sierra Leone. She also addresses politics in Sierra Leone, her writing life, and the relationship between the two.
