The Omaha Symphony Orchestra plays Scheherazade by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov loosely based on the tales found in One Thousand and One Nights, a collection of Middle Eastern folktales. Concertmaster Susanna Perry Gilmore is Scheherazade who saves her own life by interesting the Sultan in the tales she told him through 1001 nights.
