With soul-deep vocals, fearless songwriting and a roots-Americana sound steeped in blues, soul and rock, Jeni Grouws brings both power and vulnerablility to every song. A Wisconsin native now based in Omaha through a multi-year residency at The Music House, Grouws first earned national recognition as co-founder of the Billboard-charting Avey Grouws Band. As a solo artist, she is carving out a sound all her own -- one shaped by grit, groove, emotional honesty and an instinct for stories that linger. Whether delivering a full-throated anthem or a quieter, more reflective song. Grouws creates music that feels lived-in, immediate and deeply human.
