In this episode of N*Gen, we explore the fascinating substance called soil. We learn what topsoil is and discuss soil conservation, which helps us keep soil healthy for farming. We'll meet the farmer's best friend, the humble worm. Worms maintain soil quality for plant growth by adding gases and nutrients that plants need. That's why worms are essential for all life on Earth. Waggly Worm also reminds us how we can be good scientists by not being afraid to make mistakes in our experiments and investigations. Join us on our journey underground into the very material that life on our planet depends on: soil.
