Internationally recognized Chickasaw composer Jarod Tate is an Emmy Award-winning musician, U.S. Department of State Cultural Ambassador and member of the Chickasaw Hall of Fame. When he's not conducting around the world or writing award-winning compositions, Jarod's favorite role is to mentor young composers at the First Americans Museum's Youth Composer Camp. Students spend a week creating original music, then hear their works performed live, leaving with the confidence to pursue their artistic dreams.
