Deeply rooted in her Osage heritage, artist Lydia Cheshewalla enters a gallery to mount an ambitious, room-sized ephemeral installation made entirely of local flora. Centering the beauty of impermanence, she treats these gathered plants as living "collaborators" rather than mere materials. But while this temporary creation is destined to be returned to the wild, managing its sheer scale and complex logistics poses a delicate challenge.
