Built high in the Rockies, Camp Hale was the training grounds for the famed 10th Mountain Division during WWII. Their service is honored at what remains today at Camp Hale. The site also remains not only a significant place for preservation and conservation, but for recreation--as veterans visit the hallowed site to connect to its legacy, and heal.
