Apply basic right-angle trigonometry to learn about the relationships among steepness, angle of elevation, and height-to-distance ratio. Us e trigonometric ratios to solve problems involving right triangles.
Explore various aspects of solid geometry. Examine platonic solids and why there are a finite number of them. Investigate nets and cross-sec tions for solids as a way of establishing the relationships between tw odimensional and threedimensional geometry.
