In this hour-long documentary, Anahita recounts her escape from Afghanistan: getting to the airport, climbing over barbed wire fencing, nearly being shot by the Taliban, and trying to keep her children safely by her side throughout the ordeal. The film follows Anahita and her children as they settle into a new home with the help of a sponsor, Amy, and cope with the challenges of living in a new country without familiar support systems or knowledge of the language.
