This concert film celebrates Streisand's critically acclaimed "Timeless" concerts, recorded at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on December 31, 1999 and January 1, 2000. Staged as an original, Broadway-style musical in which Barbra looks back at her past, the production featured an orchestra conducted by Marvin Hamlisch and a book written by Streisand and Kenny Ortega. Barbra performs several songs with 15-year-old look-alike singing sensation Lauren Frost and Savion Glover appears as Brother Time. The concert also includes a video montage of some of her most famous duets, including with Judy Garland ("Happy Days Are Here Again," "Get Happy") and Frank Sinatra ("I've Got a Crush On You") Barry Gibb, Bryan Adams, Neil Diamond, and many others. She also chats with friend Shirley MacLaine in a pre-taped comedy dialogue.
