To celebrate National Manufacturing Month, Milwaukee PBS and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel teamed up to present THE FUTURE OF MANUFACTURING TOWN HALL. This event focuses on the importance of attracting and training the workforce as the industry trends toward high-tech and automation. Town Hall panelists include representatives from Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, Sussex IM, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, MATC and other companies. It also features an exclusive interview with Microsoft President Brad Smith. The conversation will be moderated by Milwaukee PBS host Portia Young.
