Phryne (Essie Davis) plays host to ghostly soldiers and exotic spiritualists. Aunt Prudence (Miriam Margolyes) is swept up in the new spiritualist fad and enlists the famed Mrs. Bolkonsky to contact her dead godson, Lieutenant-Colonel Roland Claremont.
