Jerry explains what happens when you are using too much water in your paint which he corrects by adding a bit more gesso to thicken up the paint. Uses the feathering and scrubbing processes. Discusses impressionist techniques which are "simply creating the suggestion" of something and illustrates the technique while blocking in distant trees.
