The team investigates four stories from the American West, including those of legendary frontiersman Kit Carson; Yakima Canutt, who made life safer for movie stunt artists; a mysterious inscription on sheet music of the popular western song "Tumbling Tumbleweeds;" and, the possibility that a pivotal character in the Modoc Indian Wars created a basket.
