After learning all the steps and how nature plays a significant role in making paper, the kids realize that it's important not to waste it. This inspires them to finish their story by drawing on the back of their old paper. Bath Time - After Ari's parents let him skip bath time, he's determined to never have a bath again. This makes Elinor, Ari and Olive ask the question, why do we have to take baths anyway? They learn all about the different ways animals keep themselves clean, but Ari is still adamant about never bathing again. That is, until he starts to get really sticky and itchy, which disrupts his playtime. He finally gives in to bath time and makes himself squeaky clean, but don't worry, he'll have plenty time to get dirty again tomorrow!
Penguins can't fly - or can they? In Cyberspace, on one special night each year, the penguins of Penguia take flight to deliver gifts to young borgs across the virtual universe. For the first time ever, the CyberSquad's friend Fluff is participating, and invites his pals Matt, Jackie, Inez and Digit to join him in the impressive Penguin March. They head to the Ice Palace, where the gifts are made and where magic snowflakes are sprinkled on the penguins so they can fly. But Hacker, up to his usual ruinous tricks, doesn't want a happy holiday (let alone happy little borgs) so he creates a giant ditch in front of the Ice Palace and traps all the penguins in its icy depths! Laura and co-host Amir Khafagy, a journalist with the New York City-based publication Documented, speak with two local BIPOC media projects that saved lives and expanded their relationship with their communities. Our guests are Brooklyn Brown, Reporter for Cherokee One Feather, the local newspaper of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians; and Magaly Urdiales, co-founder of JMPRO Community Media ("Justice Media Project"), a grassroots nonprofit that shares essential news and information with immigrant communities in Spanish, English and Mayan Indigenous languages.
