URBAN FORAGING: Food is all around us, and sometimes in unexpected places. A local farmer in Columbus guides beginners on how to urban forage responsibly. SLATE RUN HISTORICAL WORKING FARM: Architectural Historian Jeff Darbee visits the Slate Run Historical Working Farm in Canal Winchester, to find out what farm life was like back in the mid-1800s. FARMER’S MENTAL WELL-BEING: Farmers are one and a half times more likely to die by suicide. Through a grant, Ohio State Extension is working to improve mental health awareness in rural communities by increasing access to mental health care for the farming community.
