Stefan Grossman is a product of the Greenwich Village folk scene where he studied with the legendary bluesman the Reverend Gary Davis. An American who lives in Rome, Italy, Grossman's outgoing and charismatic style on the six and twelve string guitar keeps his audiences entranced with his blues and folk music and comic commentaries. Grossman's Ramblin' concert includes a broad range of material, from traditional blues like "Cocaine Blues,""Satisfied and Tickled Too,""Candy Man," and "Delia," to Irish numbers like "Sheebeg and Shemor." Grossman frames each selection with a history of each song and stories about the stylists who originally presented them.
