Dick Oakford is from a family with deep central Illinois roots. He compiled an extensive record of his grandfather and father?s contributions to the region and published the diary of a family member?s wagon train journey from Metamora to California. Keeping his writing skills sharp, he also takes a deep dive into prayer and what it means to pray.
