When Chris and Martin meet up with a mob of Red kangaroos, they get their car keys stolen by a joey and have to figure out how to get them back from the tricky little guy. As they jump into the life of the roos to search for the missing keys, the brothers realize that animals live in different kinds of social groups and they have important behaviors that keep the group together and safe. Unfortunately, it's not that simple, and they can't even draw a map, because Ari can't remember exactly how to get to the treasure. Luckily, their friend Philbert the Squirrel helps them out by teaching the kids about landmarks and how to use them to find your way. So, the mighty pirates finally find their loot. Arrrr!

Trouble is brewing beneath Serene Greens! Hapo the earthworm needs help underground, but how can the CyberSquad possibly help their miniscule friend? With one zap of Digit's "shrinkray," the team shrinks to the size of tiny insects and portals underground. They're literally IN the soil! The diminutive Matt, Jackie, Inez, and Digit come face-to-face with all sorts of critters that make up this thriving ecosystem. The only problem is Hapo's home turf, Bug Bayou, is anything but flourishing. The roots are mushy, the ground is clumpy and dry, and food is scarce, causing creatures to flee to healthier ground.
