Burrowing Owl Girl - Elinor is very excited, because she's visiting her grandparents in the desert. While out exploring with her grandmother, the always curious Elinor comes across a peculiar looking owl that is smaller than any other owl she's ever seen. Even more peculiar, this owl is out during the day! How can that be? After some careful observations, she realizes she DOESN'T know everything there is to know about owls, and learns that the owl she spotted is a burrowing owl, which lives in the desert and runs around during the day. Elinor is reminded that nature is full of surprises! Olive's Tree - Olive shows her friends her favorite tree in the forest. The next day, however, they're sad to see that the tree has fallen over. The three little scientists set out to find out why, and soon learn that Olive's tree has simply entered the final stage of its life cycle. Trees go from a seed, to sprout, to sapling, to full mature tree and finally, to a wildlife tree, which is a tree that has fallen over. Even though the tree has fallen, Olive is comforted to know that it will still be around for a long time, providing a home to many creatures in the forest.

Thanks to Gabrielle's show, Elmo and Grover learn that just because they may be the first person to do something doesn't mean that can't do it. MARCHING FORWARD shares the story of two high school band directors - one black, one white - whose love of music and dedication to their students inspired an atypical collaboration in the segregated south. Their friendship and professional cooperation resulted in the experience of a lifetime for two Orlando-area bands at the 1964 New York World's Fair. In the early 1960s, the Orlando community and its schools were still segregated. James "Chief" Wilson led the Jones Marching Tiger Band at the city's only black public high school. "Daddy" Del Kieffner directed the all-white Edgewater High School's Marching Eagle Band. Jones's band was regarded as Orlando's best, winning awards and receiving regular invitations to entertain at community and town events. When Edgewater received the sole invitation to perform at the World's Fair, Wilson and Kieffner launched efforts to fundraise simultaneously and campaign elected officials so both student bands could travel to New York. Interviews with former students, Kieffner's children, and Wilson and his family recount this chapter in Orlando's history - both the moments of unity forged in the community, as well as the challenges and inequities of the Jim Crow-era South.
In the midst of segregation, the all-Black Tennessee A&I Tigers were the first collegiate basketball team to win three consecutive national championships. Yet they were never duly recognized for this singular achievement. The team captain, legendary Knicks player Dick Barnett, began a nine-year quest to ensure his historic team's immortality. His tenacity, dedication, and struggle finally paid off in 2019 when the team was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. THE DREAM WHISPERER reveals how the team from this small, historically Black college triumphed over intense adversity and shares how, 60 years later, their captain refused to let their forgotten legacy die.
