RIGHTEOUS REMNANT charts the history of Jews in Appalachia, from immigrant pack peddlers to successful small town merchants. Through interviews with residents and religious leaders, the documentary profiles the small Jewish congregation in Beckley, West Virginia, struggling for survival in the face of its dwindling population. The documentary is narrated by NBC correspondent Ed Rabel.
