There's been a surge in challenges to books in public schools and libraries. States across the country have enacted laws to restrict the types of content available to children in education settings-- including here in Indiana. Experts label it an unprecedented censorship movement. WFYI investigative education reporter Lee Gaines has spent the better part of the last year following these efforts-- in Indiana?s Statehouse and in a suburban library system in Hamilton County.
