During the mid-sixties, Tara Browne was a central figure in London's swinging scene. He was associated with the Rolling Stones, a Vogue model, a race car driver, and a clothing shop he owned called Dandie Fashions. He was also a close friend to the Beatles, introducing Paul McCartney to LSD. When Browne tragically died in a car accident on December 17, 1966, John Lennon was inspired to pen "A Day in the Life, " a somber reflection on the accident, complemented by McCartney's bridge, cheerfully depicting mundane life. Scott takes us through the writing and recording of this emotional, unique and iconic classic, a defining moment in Beatles' history.
