Despite the fact that agriculture and rural enterprises represent important sectors in nearly every state's economy, rural America's stories are given scant attention by the nation's traditional media. That's why MARKET TO MARKET'S broad range of reporting - from global trade conflicts to environmental controversies to new technologies to emerging rural economic initiatives -- is so important. As important are the series' experienced market analysts who provide thoughtful insight about price trends and offer strategies to help producers and processors cope with changing times.

BLACK BALLERINA is a story of passion, opportunity, heartbreak and triumph of the human spirit. Sixty years ago, while pursuing their dreams of careers in classical dance, Joan Myers Brown, Delores Browne and Raven Wilkinson (the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo's first black ballerina) confronted racism, exclusion and unequal opportunity in segregated mid-century America. In 2015, three young black women also pursue careers as ballerinas, and find that many of the same obstacles their predecessors faced are still evident in the ballet world today. Through interviews with current and former ballet dancers along with engaging archival photos and film, the one-hour documentary uses the ethereal world of ballet to engage viewers on a subject that reaches far outside the art world and compels viewers to think about larger issues of exclusion, equal opportunity and change.

We begin on Skellig Rocks - stormbound ocean pinnacles off the southwestern corner where early Christian monks built a monastery on the summit almost 1500 years ago. His next stop is the deserted Great Blasket Island, home to a wildlife spectacle more familiar from Antarctica - vast numbers of Seals coming ashore in winter to fight, mate and moult before he heads inland in search of the island's last surviving herd of Red Deer from prehistoric times. Back on the coast he goes on the trail of Humpback Whales which are making their mark in Irish waters returning year after year in increasing numbers before heading north along the coast to meet a lonely dolphin who has set up residence off Ireland's striking Burren region. Colin ends in Clew Bay, an iconic inlet half way up Ireland's west coast and the place Colin chose to make his home after decades traveling the world.

But when Crystal realizes that nothing they're doing is actually raising awareness of the issue, she decides to organize a HUGE benefit concert, and everyone agrees to pitch in and help (as long as the King doesn't have to perform)! "Crystal and King Benefit Concert: Part Two" - The "Don't Overfish the Big Pond" Benefit Concert is underway, and it's a HUGE success! Can the kids help Crystal get over her stage fright and get her back onstage, or will the King have to come out of "performance retirement" to help her out? Educational Objectives: Overfishing generally results in a dramatic depletion in the total amount of fish (i.e., biomass). Also, overfishing often causes smaller fish (the prey species of larger fish) to increase in number as the larger predators are removed. If aquatic ecosystems are given a chance to rebound, they often will, as long as the numbers of fish have not been depleted too far.

Through helping the solar powered robot regain its energy, they learn how energy can be captured, used from the Sun, and used anywhere - even on Mars.
